Macadam Triumph racing team

THE TEAM

Triumph Motorcycles and Macadam Racing have joined forces to compete in the 2024 Quattro Group British Supersport Championship. The Macadam Triumph Racing team is fielding two riders in the ultra-competitive domestic series with the intention of mounting a championship challenge this season.

Having taken over the Appleyard Macadam Racing team, who won an unprecedented four titles in the British Supersport series previously, the new Macadam Triumph outfit is excited to begin the next chapter with a British manufacturer. The team secured a handful of podiums last season in its second year under the ownership of Dave Wadsworth and is now looking to build on that success with Triumph in 2024, utilising the platform of the Street Triple 765.

The MIH Macadam Triumph Racing team is an additional arm to the Macadam Triumph Racing outfit, solely focussed on the all-new National Sportbike series. With the brand new Triumph Daytona 660 prepared in race trim, this Lincolnshire-based squad fields three riders in the championship and has big ambitions in 2024.

PHR Performance has aligned with Triumph Racing to develop the Daytona 660 race kit for the National Sportbike Championship, and has been testing throughout the winter to create race-specific parts for the machine. The PHR outfit, headed by TT-ace and BSB race-winner Peter Hickman, will run one rider in the series in 2024. A number of wildcard riders may also compete in the series.
