Triumph MX2 Guillem Farres and Camden McLellan

The Monster Energy Triumph Factory Racing team will race in the FIM MX2 Motocross World Championship for a second season in 2025, following its successful debut campaign last year. In just their first outing, the team took a spectacular podium finish in Argentina with Mikkel Haarup, and this was followed up with a second trip to the rostrum just two rounds later with Camden McLellan – cementing Triumph and the team’s status as serious competitors amongst the world’s best. The riders ultimately finished the season in fifth and ninth overall, with regular top three and top five moto finishes.

The Monster Energy Triumph Factory Racing team is led by Team Owner Thierry Chizat-Suzzoni alongside Team Manager, Vincent Bereni. This highly respected, experienced and accomplished duo have been pivotal in many riders’ careers over the last decade; together, the pairing has helped guide multiple riders to success, winning no fewer than 80 GPs in the FIM Motocross World Championship.

Deeply involved in the machine development process, both OEM and racing, Chizat-Suzzoni and Bereni are highly motivated to achieve success with Triumph’s motocross bike, the TF 250-X, which was introduced to market in 2024. The duo have worked closely alongside Triumph engineers from Hinckley, UK while bringing in their own team’s expertise, which has been fundamental to development, while also starting an entirely new racing project. In addition, Test Rider and now Rider Coach, Clement Desalle, has been pivotal to the entire process of development, before handing the reins over to the factory riders last season.

With the MXGP and MX2 series not having the same homologation rules as the US, it is an ideal test and development platform for manufacturers to refine and test their products or ideas. The team continues to work extremely hard behind the scenes with Triumph engineers, and hope to continue to share many further ‘first’ successes with Triumph, and title sponsor Monster Energy, over the next few seasons.
