Q: What inspired the design on the new 660?

A: The new Daytona 660 is a fresh and lean take on Daytona design DNA and designed by the same team behind the Daytona 675.

Q: Key differences between Trident 660 and Daytona 660?

A: The Daytona 660 is a road-focused sports bike, built on our 660 platform. It has its own dedicated frame, significantly reworked triple engine and high-spec components.

Q: Is it completely track focused?

A: With the Daytona 660, we’ve created an exciting and engaging sports ride that’s comfortable enough to ride every day.

Q: Is it A2 compliant?

A: Yes! There’s a dealer fitted A2 kit available, which limits power to 47PS until you’ve completed your full licence.

 

 

Q: Does it have a quick shifter?

A: Triumph shift assist is available as an accessory for clutch-less up and down shifts for the new 6-speed gear box.

Q: How does the seating ergonomics compare to other bikes in the class?

A: The Daytona 660 delivers a dynamic and engaging ride, with natural ergonomics and great comfort, that you can enjoy every day.

Q: What is the wet weight and horsepower?

A: The Daytona 660 has a wet weight of 201kg and the triple engine delivers 95PS peak power and 69Nm of torque - with more than 80% available from just over 3000rpm all the way up to 12,000rpm.

Q: How different is the sports mode compared to the road mode?

A: The three riding modes tailor the throttle response, traction control and front wheel lift for optimum control in all riding conditions, with the same peak power of 95PS in all three modes.
