TRIALS
Whether you’re 4 or 64, our OSET Trials Experience is without a doubt going to be some of the most fun you will have on a bike.
If you are joining us to watch your children ride, enjoy free refreshments from our viewing deck whilst overseeing them tackle obstacles and gain confidence with the bike in the capable hands of our Triumph Adventure Experience Instructors.
The OSET Trials Experience is suitable for complete beginners with no prior experience other than the ability to ride a push bike. No motorcycle licence is required.
You will be utilising the Triumph Motorcycles Global Adventure Training Academy, and their off-road arena.
The minimum equipment provided within the £125 course price:
- Crash helmet or full-face (not a cycle helmet)
- Motorcycle boots (Trials or MX)
- Protective Gloves
We offer the following additional cost hire equipment:
- Off-road trouser £10
- Body Armour £10
- Jersey £10
- Knee & Elbow Pads £10
- Waterproofs - adult hire £20
- Waterproofs - kids purchase only £20
Waterproof equipment may be required due to weather conditions, we have this equipment at the centre should you wish to purchase on the day.
Included in your session will be refreshment opportunity where tea, coffee & water will be provided.
If you wish to bring you own snacks you are welcome, all we ask is that you dispose of any rubbish responsibly and utilise our waste bins.
Run of the day:
8:00am to 9:00am – Arrival at the TAE & Registration
9:00am to 9:30am – Transfer to area (utilising your own vehicle)
9:30am to 11:00am – Motorcycle overview and familiarisation session, getting comfortable with the bike.
11:00am to 11:15am – Refreshment break
11:15am to 12:00pm – Increase the skill level in line with the group activity
12:00pm to 1:00pm – Prepare to explore the arena, beginners utilise open areas while more confident groups head into the forest
1:00pm – Activity finishes
1:00pm to 2:00pm – Instructors help customers finish up and collect equipment, and close the arena
The Novice sessions are 3 hours long and are aimed at people who have never been off road or to new riders that have never ridden, our team of experienced instructors will be on hand at all times to guide and ensure their safety while riding.
The Novice session will be based over three open areas of land, they will start with the very basics of riding and enjoy riding around various off-road surfaces. They will be set basic challenges based on trials skill according to how they progress during the session. Parents and guardians will be able to view the children at all time from the viewing galleries.
Once the session is completed, you are more than welcome to return to the Triumph Global Training Academy to collect any items. Alternatively, inform our team that you are leaving, and they will handle any items and equipment you may have hired from us.
The Intermediate sessions are 3 hours long and are aimed someone that has some riding experience and awareness of off road riding and trials skills, our team of experienced instructors will be on hand at all times to guide and ensure their safety while riding.
The Intermediate session will be based over three open areas of land and through forest trails, they will start with the very basics of riding and enjoy riding around various off-road surfaces. They will be set basic challenges based on trials skill according to how they progress during the session. Once they are deemed confident with the OSET, we will start to venture further in the forest and explore various trails. Parents and guardians will be able to view the children at the open areas only and from the viewing galleries. They will be unable to view or follow through the forest.
Once the session is completed, you are more than welcome to return to the Triumph Global Training Academy to collect any items. Alternatively, inform our team that you are leaving, and they will handle any items and equipment you may have hired from us.
The Senior sessions are 3 hours long and are aimed at teenager and adults, our team of experienced instructors will be on hand at all times to guide and ensure their safety while riding.
The Senior session will be based over three open areas of land and through forest trails and single tracks. They will start with an assessment of riding and enjoy riding around various off-road surfaces. They will be set basic challenges based on trials skill according to how they progress during the session. Once they are deemed confident with the OSET, we will start to venture further in the forest and explore various trails. Parents and guardians will be able to view the children at the open areas only and from the viewing galleries. They will be unable to view or follow through the forest.

They will be set basic challenges based on trials skill according to how they progress during the session. Once they are deemed confident with the OSET, we will start to venture further in the forest and explore various trails. Training can be led a little by the clients request but must keep within guidance from the instructor. Parents and guardians will be able to view the children at the open areas only and from the viewing galleries. They will be unable to view or follow through the forest.
