TRIUMPH ROAD EXPERIENCES
The Triumph Adventure Experience self-guided road tours are aimed at riders looking for a fantastic route with great company through the UK, while also taking in a factory tour at Triumph Motorcycles HQ.
We have several amazing options to choose from, and our experienced Triumph Adventure Experience instructors will be on hand to guide you and look after your hospitality. The tours will run in two ways: you will either ride your own bike or hire one from the Triumph Adventure Experience team. The routes are all road-based with no off-road sections. However, as you’re with the Adventure Experience team, we know some really exciting roads and routes not known by many, so expect some surprises.
Each rider will be required to bring their own luggage and be capable of carrying what they need, pillion riders are allowed on your own bike but not on our hire Motorcycles. The TAE we will provide you with luggage to pack you clothing into for the duration of the trip.
Our current route options are four days touring through Wales, over the border into England to visit the Triumph Factory Visitor Experience before returning to Wales to finish the trip at the Triumph Adventure Experience. Alternatively, the route starts at The Factory Visitor Experience Centre and heads to the Highlands for 6 days to complete the North Coast 500 in Scotland.
Tour Itinerary
Wonders of Wales and the Triumph Factory Visitors Experience
On arrival, you’ll be greeted by the Triumph Adventure Experience team and have a chance to enjoy a coffee while you register for your trip. Feel free to look around the world-class adventure centre and take in what’s on offer; the team will be on hand to help you.
You’ll be given your itinerary for the trip and time scales for lunch meet-ups and destinations. You can have peace of mind knowing you’re in good hands with the Adventure team’s support never too far away should you need help. Each night, you will stay at fantastic locations and enjoy an evening meal together. After a great night’s sleep and a hearty breakfast, you’ll head off on your adventures to the next destination. Working your way through the best roads Wales has to offer, you’ll finally come to your final night in Wales and stay at the fabulous Lake Vyrnwy Hotel. The following morning, you’ll head across the country past the market town of Welshpool, through the border into Shropshire, and onto the Midlands.
Arriving at the Factory Visitor Centre, you’ll be treated like VIPs, taking on a full factory tour and then visiting the factory museum before sitting and enjoying a fabulous lunch together in the Triumph Café. Once we’ve finished the tour, we’ll head over to our accommodation where you’re free to enjoy the swimming pool and leisure facilities and relax. On the last day, you’ll head from the Triumph Factory down the Fosse Way, through the Forest of Dean into the Brecon Beacons, and finish at TAE.
- Day 1: Leave the TAE and head through Llyn Brianne, Elan Valley & Mac loop into Machynlleth, finishing in Dolgellau.
- Day 2: Machynlleth through Snowdonia, Bettws y Coed to Lake Vyrnwy.
- Day 3: Lake Vyrnwy across Wales to Triumph Factory Visitor Centre, Hinckley.
- Day 4: Triumph Factory down the Fosse Way, through the Forest of Dean into the Brecon Beacons, and finish at TAE.
Triumph Factory Visitors Experience and the NC500 Scottish highland tour
You will arrive in the afternoon on Day 1 for your factory visitor tour and meet the FVE team. You’ll have a chance to take in the factory museum and visitor shop and look around the café. Once done, you’ll head over to the hotel where you will be greeted and introduced to the Triumph Adventure Experience team. They will get you settled and sort any hire equipment you may have requested, including motorcycles. The following day, it’s a steady ride up towards Edinburgh.
- Day 1: Visit the famous Triumph Factory Visitor Experience, immerse yourself in the full factory story, and see a priceless collection of motorcycle memorabilia brought together exclusively for our visitors.
- Day 2: Leave Hinckley and head towards Edinburgh.
- Day 3: Edinburgh to Inverness.
- Day 4: Inverness to Tongue.
- Day 5: Tongue to Kyle of Lochalsh.
- Day 6: Kyle of Lochalsh to Glasgow.
- Day 7: Glasgow to Hinckley.
