THE NATIONWIDE DEMO DAY

• The “Nationwide Demo Day” prize draw is open to residents of the UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Republic of Ireland aged 21 years or over, holding a full bike licence, except employees or families of Triumph Motorcycles Ltd.
• Details of how to enter form part of the terms and conditions. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the entrant agrees to abide by these rules. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• Entries must be submitted via www.triumphmotorcycles.co.uk and entry is restricted to one entry per person. Multiple entries will be disqualified.
• Entry to the prize draw is free and no purchase is necessary.
• The closing date for entries is midnight on the 10th April 2014.
• Entrants will be emailed at random a competition prize code on or before midnight on the 11th April 2014.
• Entrants must determine whether they have won by verifying the competition prize code with a participating Triumph authorised dealer on the 12th April 2014.
• Verification of prize codes is only available through a participating Triumph authorised dealer.

• One entrant will win the loan of the Triumph motorcycle of their choice, subject to availability, for the 6 months commencing 1st May 2014. Use of the loan motorcycle is restricted to social, domestic and pleasure, including travel to and from a normal place of work. One year’s road tax is included in the prize. Fully comprehensive motorcycle insurance must be arranged and paid for by the winner in advance of collection. The winner, or whoever intends to ride the bike, must have a valid full UK motorcycle licence. In the event the winner cannot take the motorcycle on the dates specified in these terms and conditions the prize will be forfeit. The winner will be required to present their original full motorcycle licence to Triumph staff prior to the loan of the Triumph motorcycle. The supply of documents is a prerequisite of the loan of the Triumph motorcycle. No modifications may be made to the loan motorcycle. The winner will be required to sign a loan agreement prior to collecting the loan motorcycle – copy available upon request. Additionally the winner acknowledges and accepts the Rider Waiver Terms below.
• Additional prizes are available comprising x10 pairs of Triumph Triple Challenge Hospitality tickets at a round of winning entrants choice during the 2014 Triumph Triple Challenge Season.
• There is no cash alternative to any prize.
• Prizes are not transferable.
• Prizes do not include travel between the winner’s home and the collection point, personal expenditure or incidental costs, other than where stated in these terms and conditions.
• If you match a winning prize code then you must complete the claim form provided by the dealer.
• Claims will be verified by Triumph and confirmed within 14 days of the prize draw.
• Winners will have a further 28 days to collect their prize from their nearest participating Triumph authorised dealer.
• In the event the prize is unclaimed within the claim period the prize will be forfeit.
• The winner’s name and county can be obtained by sending an SAE to Triumph Open Day Prize Draw Winner 2014, Triumph UK, Jacknell Road, Hinckley, LE10 3BS between 1st May and 31st July 2014.
• Winners agree to participate in any publicity.
• The Triumph name, logo and trademarks are copyright protected property of Triumph. Triumph obtains the right to take photographs of the winner. All photographs and depictions of the winner taken in connection with this prize draw are the exclusive property of Triumph for commercial use in Triumph’s sole discretion with no compensation to the winners. Triumph obtains the right to use the winner’s name and images to Triumph’s commercial benefit in the public domain via social media of Triumph’s choosing, including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, MySpace, Google+, Bebo, Flickr and/or Tumblr. No photographs of the loan motorcycle or other prizes may be reproduced, copied, displayed, distributed, republished, uploaded, posted, or transmitted by prize winners without written permission from Triumph in any way for any commercial purpose. Any use of materials for any purpose without the written permission from Triumph is a violation of Triumph’s copyright and/or other proprietary rights. The trademarks, logos and service marks ("Marks") of Triumph are the property of Triumph, its affiliates or other third parties. Nothing during the loan period should be construed as granting, by implication, estoppel, or otherwise, any license or right to use any Mark displayed on the loan motorcycle without the written permission of Triumph. The prize winners are advised that Triumph will aggressively enforce its intellectual property rights to the fullest extent of the law, including the seeking of criminal prosecution.
• The prize draw is governed by the laws of England.
• The promoter reserves the right to amend, alter or withdraw the promotion at any time without prior notice.
• The promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equivalent or higher value.
• Any personal data relating to entrants will be used in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party, except for the purpose of fulfilling the prize where applicable.

Rider Waiver Terms

• The winner understands that there are risks and hazards inherent in the operation of any motorcycle. The undersigned assumes all risks, hazards, and dangers associated with his/her acceptance of the loan motorcycle. The participant agrees to bear the sole responsibility for any civil and criminal actions that may arise from any personal injuries or property damage caused by himself/herself or his/her operation of the loan motorcycle.
• The winner waives all rights to assert any claim against Triumph, related companies, business partners, insurance companies, related companies and all their employees for any and all damages, including damages based upon negligence, gross negligence, any alleged product defect or any other claim, allegedly arising out of the use of the loan motorcycle.
• The winner forever waives all rights to sue Triumph, related companies, business partners, insurance companies, related companies and all their employees for any and all damages, including damages based upon negligence, gross negligence, any alleged product defect or any other claim, allegedly arising out of the use of the loan motorcycle. The winner understands and agrees that this waiver is binding on all his/her family members, heirs and assigns.
• The winner will forever hold Triumph, related companies, business partners, insurance companies, related companies and all their employees harmless for any and all claims, demands and lawsuits, including claims of negligence, gross negligence, any alleged product defect or any other claim, made by anyone against Triumph, related companies, business partners, insurance companies, related companies and all their employees for any and all damages arising out of the use of the loan motorcycle.
• The winner hereby declares that he/she has a valid unrevoked driver’s license that allows him/her to operate motorcycles. The participant also states that he/she has the necessary riding skills and experience to safely ride the loan motorcycle.
• The winner agrees to refrain from riding the loan motorcycle after consuming alcohol or drugs. The participant acknowledges that it is illegal to operate the subject motorcycle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The winner agrees to accept sole responsibility for any and all fines and damages arising from the operation of the loan motorcycle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.
• Off road riding is not allowed. The winner agrees that any damage caused by unauthorized off-road riding will have to be paid in full by the winner without any deductible.
• The winner acknowledges that the motorcycle being provided by Triumph has been operated in the past. The winner will be responsible for inspection of the motorcycle before each and every ride. The winner acknowledges that he/she has examined the loaned motorcycle and states that it is in safe operating condition. If the winner has any concerns about the ability for the motorcycle to be operated safety, the winner will refrain from the use of the motorcycle and will inform Triumph about any reasons for concerns about the safety of the motorcycle.
• The winner agrees to comply with all traffic laws while operating the loan motorcycle. The participant agrees to wear a helmet. The participant also acknowledges that Triumph recommends that while riding the winner wears purpose-designed motorcycle clothing including gloves, boots, eye protection, long sleeves and long pants.
• The winner agrees that Triumph shall have the right to use his/her name, likeness and endorsement or any reproduction thereof, in any form, style or color, together with any writing or other advertising material in connection therewith including, but not limited to television commercials, documentary films, magazine and newspaper ads, point of purchase materials, and other materials referring to winner’s preference for Triumph motorcycles.
• The winner agrees that Triumph have the right to contact him/her by telephone or e-mail or mail.
• The winner acknowledges that he/she understands English. The winner acknowledges that he/she read and understood this waiver. The winner agrees to the terms of this waiver.
